The products safe enough to use every day rarely performed. The ones that performed came with ingredient lists we weren't willing to accept. So we built the version we wanted instead.
how it started
I spent years as a hairstylist watching confidence change people in real time. The way someone's whole energy shifts when they feel good in their body. That never got old for me. But behind the scenes I was really struggling. A body that felt like it was working against me no matter what I tried. I saw every doctor, tried everything. Nothing stuck.
What finally shifted things for me wasn't another protocol. It was slowing down and getting deliberate about what I was putting on my body every single day. That's what Sol E'Ciel is built on. Products that are actually clean and actually work, paired with the belief that five intentional minutes with yourself does something real. Your nervous system responds to slowness, and that's where it starts.
Every formula starts with a chemist, and then I mix and fill each bottle by hand in Phoenix. There's no factory and no white label. If you're holding one of our bottles, it passed through my hands. I built this brand because I wanted to reach more women with that. Not just the ones in my chair.

how we define clean
The rule is simple. If we wouldn't use it on ourselves or the people we love, it doesn't go in a formula. Every ingredient is evaluated on its safety data and on how it behaves in the bottle and on skin, and anything we can't feel confident about stays out.
Clean is one of the least regulated words in beauty, which is why we would rather show you what we mean by it. Nontoxic, carefully considered, and chosen for how an ingredient behaves once it's on you.

We care about skin health, and we would rather tell you exactly what we use than ask you to trust a word like clean. Every formula is built with intention, and every ingredient in it is doing something. Cold pressed plant oils, lipids that mirror what skin already makes, and antioxidants that help protect it.
Each formula is developed with a cosmetic chemist and reworked until it performs on real hair and real skin. Some of what we use is made in a lab, and that is a decision we make on purpose. It is often the steadier and safer choice, and we reach for it wherever it makes the product better.

Everything is mixed and filled by hand in our Arizona studio, in batches small enough that every bottle passes through someone's hands before it reaches yours.
our fragrances
Every Sol E'Ciel fragrance is a concentrate blended into organic sugarcane alcohol. No water, no fillers, nothing added to stretch a formula that doesn't need stretching. The concentrate itself is built from many individual materials, some botanical and some made in a lab, chosen for how they behave on skin and how they hold over a day.
Synthetic has become a word people flinch at, and it deserves better. Many synthetics are easier on sensitive skin than the botanical version of the same material, and they don't draw down plants that are already overharvested. When we reach for one, it is because it is nontoxic, well tolerated on sensitive skin, more sustainable than the harvested alternative, and steady batch after batch.
Our promise
Our fragrance blends are IFRA certified, free from phthalates, and compliant with the EU restricted substances list. Always cruelty free, gluten free, and free from parabens, sulfates, and formaldehyde.
Full disclosure of every material in a fragrance blend is something suppliers are still slow to allow. We share everything available to us today and we will publish more as it opens up.

What does clean mean at Sol E'Ciel?
Nontoxic and carefully vetted. We evaluate every ingredient on safety data and performance rather than on whether it came from a plant, which means we welcome safe synthetics and leave out anything we aren't confident about.
Are your products all natural?
No, and that is on purpose. Naturally derived ingredients can be irritating or unstable, while some of the best studied and best tolerated materials available to a formulator are made in a lab. We choose whichever one makes the product safer and better.
Do you have a list of ingredients you won't use?
We do, and you'll find it on each fragrance page where it matters most. What we don't do is lead with it. A list of what a product isn't tells you very little about what it actually is, and the ingredient list does that job better.
